Wie heeft een mening? / Who has an opinion?

Ik heb deze stoelen vorige herfst gevonden bij de kringloop, en ze zijn geweldig! ondanks hier en daar een los stukje riet. Nu blijft het idee spelen om ze te schilderen, dan wel over spuiten. Het lijkt me mooi om ze vergrijsd te maken of wit, maar hoe ga ik dat aan pakken, of zal ik ze zo laten? Ik weet het niet! Wat vinden jullie??

 

 

Last atumn I found these chairs in a thriftstore, i think they are realy cool, but i keep thinking about wanting to paint them  in a grey or white paint. But i have no idea how to start or if i should even do it? What do you think?

Hoe dan ook ze zitten verrukkelijk, je komt er bijna niet meer uit(alleen de kussens die erbij kwamen wil ik nog veranderen, een beetje dikker en zachter),…..

Any way they are realy comfy, you almost don’t want to get out of them, ( i also want to chance the pillows that came with it, more thick and fluffy),….

Peeking inside homes!

Whenever i buy a 'living'magazine, i love the pages the best where you get a look inside someones home. I realy injoy the homes and decorations of people in their own specific way. There are never enough of those pages.
Thats why i love reading and looking at all those great blogs out there!
Here is a small inside look into my home.

Als ik een woonmagazine koop dan ben ik dol op al de binnenkijk pagina's, geweldig om al de manieren van decoreren en wonen te bekijken.
Daarom is het ook zo leuk om al die geweldige blogs te lezen en te bekijken.
Hier is een kleine binnenkijker in mijn huis.








The other day i re-walpapert(is this the wright word??) my bedroom. It was a long time coming, i had never changed anything to the upstairs.Big job becauce not one of the walls is straight. The mirror is from Ikea.

Een tijdje geleden heb ik de slaapkamer van nieuw behang voorzien. Eindelijk want ik heb nog nooit iets veranderd boven. Wel een klus hoor, alle wanden zijn scheef.
De spiegel is van Ikea.



The little table is from the thriftstore, and the chair i found on the street.

Het kastje komt van de kringloop en de stoel heb ik op straat gevonden.





This is the table from two post ago, i painted it white and turned it in to a little desk.

Dit is de tafel van een twee post geleden, ik heb haar wit gemaakt en een schrijftafeltje van gemaakt.



This is a small corner in the bathroom. which i change quite often.

Dit is een klein hoekje in onze badkamer. Hier verander ik nog al eens wat.


Our 3 meter long diner table (in our very tiny house, but o well), made from an old wooden factory floor from Hungaria, by my love and a friend.
In our home the only furniture bought in a store is our sofa, all others where from everywhere and nowhere.

Onze 3 meter lange eettafel (en dat in ons heel kleine huisje), gemaakt van een oude fabrieks vloer uit Hongarije,door mijn lief en een vriend. In ons huis is alleen de bank ooit gekocht in de winkel, de rest komt overal en nergens vandaan.

Thriftstore finds!!

We were at my local thriftstore, (I call it mine because I like to go there, if I can ones a week, and my love does not! :) ). But this time he was with me and he found these great chairs for in our yard. For a moment it looked like they were sold, but no. they're just perfect for us. I also liked this 'ear'table. So happy.
It was a good day!.


We waren bij de mijn kringloopwinkel ( ik noem het mijn, omdat ik er graag naar toe ga en mijn lief niet! :) ) En ik moet zeggen het is ook de enige waar ik wat koop, het is er goedkoop en lekker rommelig en genoeg te vinden. Maar goed deze keer kwam lief mee, en hij zag deze geweldige rieten stoelen staan, het leek er even op dat ze al verkocht waren, maar gelukkig waren ze voor ons. Ik zag het "oor"tafeltje en moest die mee nemen. Hier maak je me blij mee!

Small Treasures great Joy

The plates (9 pieces) with the purple flowers I found at a antiek/curiosa store, I bit more expensive than the local thriftstore but still not to bad!.

Treasure hunt

I was at the thriftstore and was about to leave, this time not finding anything.
A truck stopped and pulled into the yard of the store, delivering stuff.
There was not much in the truck but I spotted this beauty rightaway, all the way in the back.
The guy from the store took everything out and put it on one side in the building, while I waited for the chair.
One man took it out of the truck,.....and swang it high! up in the air!, I am not kidding you, and threw it on a pile of (what I thougt was real trash). I mean sure it has some broken parts, but come on!
I run over and asked them to take it of the pile!!
Then it was mine for € 2,-.

Ik was in de kringloop winkel en zou net weggaan, had niet echt wat gevonden.
Toen een vrachtwagen het terrein op reed en spul kwam brengen. Ik zag de stoel meteen al staan, helemaal achter in.
Ik wachtte af terwijl een man of 3 alles uitladen, ze zetten alles netjes aan één
kant van de loods.
Één man pakte de stoel........gooide met een grote boog (geen grap), de stoel op een (waar ik van dacht dat is echt rotzooi). Ik rende er naar toe en vroeg of ze hem weer terug konden pakken. Voor € 2,- was ie van mij.























This is a servingtray with magezine holders on each side, found it at te same thriftstore. Paint intact, nothing wrong with it.

Deze ook in de zelfde kringloop gevonden, een dienblad met vakken voor magazines, helemaal heel, niets mis mee.

I found this chair a while ago at the thriftstore for €5,00, it was still in prettie good condition. But..... my man doesn't like it ( can you believe it) so I had to compromise.

Deze stoel heb ik uit de kringloop winkel, voor € 5,00, hij zag er nog best goed uit. Maar...... mijn lief heeft er niets mee. Dus dan maar een hoes erom.

This coffee table was at the same thriftstore (€ 3,00) so much fun to find this stuff.

Deze salon tafel komt uit de zelfde kringloop, so geweldig om dit te vinden.

This one I actually found at a builders site, it was sitting in the sand, you couldn't see the legs. So at first I thought that it probebly had no legs. But sure enough it was perfect, absolutely nothing wrong with it! (besides that it was old looking). It had a green fabric. Sometimes people will throw out anything!.

Deze stoel zag ik uit een bult zand steken, op een bouwplaats. Eerst dacht ik dat de poten er wellicht af waren. Maar niets was minder waar. Niks mis mee, buiten het feit dat het een 'oude stoel'is. Het had groene stoffering. Sommige mensen gooien echt alles weg!.
