I have been contemplating about the time i have been “living” in blog-land, and i realy injoy it. Its realy inspiring to read all these great blogs and ‘meet’ all the great women with so many talents. Its almost like i travel everyday!
I have made so many pictures, which is also a lot of fun. So i thouht i should make a collage of some of them. I hope you like them !! ;-)
Ik ben de laatste dagen aan het denken over de tijd die ik nu heb ‘doorgebracht’ in blog-land, en het is echt erg leuk. Het is zo inspirerend om al die mooie blogs te lezen en om al de geweldige vrouwen te ‘ontmoeten’. Het is net of ik elke keer een beetje de wereld rond reis!.
Ik heb ook enorm veel foto;s gemaakt en dat is ook erg leuk om te doen. Dus nu dacht ik laat ik een collage maken van een aantal voor een leuke sfeer impressie. Ik hoop dat jullie ze mooi vinden!! ;-)

We are back from our days in Amsterdam, celebrating new year!
We had a great time, went to the DAM, and so did the rest of Amsterdam ;-). All was well and fun.
It hasn’t been this cold in Holland for ……….well i can’t remember, thats how long,……. there are iceskating tours being organised that hasn’t been done for 12 years, so this is good for all the dutch iceskating fans.
But as it is freezing cold outside, we need to warm things up in our homes, (which is hard in this little house by the sea.) I try my best with these flowers i bought, some white tulipes and little pink flowers. To warm things up in the house.
In an old post i wrote about our collection of cutlery, that we like to be all different. This one i got ourselves for Christmas, we are up to 6 different ones now. So much fun to set the table with.
In een oude post heb ik al eens vertelt over onze collectie bestek, die we overal en ergens vandaan halen, deze heb ik voor onszelf gekocht voor de kerst. We hebben nu al zes verschillende. Zo leuk om de tafel mee te dekken!
We zijn terug uit Amsterdam waar we het nieuwe jaar hebben ingeluid. Het was weer geweldig, we zijn op de dam beland net zoals de rest van Amsterdam, zo leek het tenminste.
Nu dat het zo koud is in Nederland, moeten we ons best doen om het heerlijk warm te houden in huis, (vrij moeilijk in dit koude huisje aan zee.) Ik heb wat bloemen in huis gehaald om de sfeer wat op te warmen nu dat alle kerst decoraties verdwenen zijn. Ik hoop dat ook jullie Nieuwjaars feestjes heerlijk zijn verlopen!

I got this great 9.0 MP 10x zoom for Christmas, check out these foto’s. The love has been a photographer for ever, and has been using Canon for ever, he is a fan of the Canon. We have several professional camera’s for our (air) fotography, with 17 mp and great lenses, but he is in love with this new camera, did i mention it is a COMPACT camera!!!
Ik heb een geweldige camera gekregen onder de kerstboom, 9.0 MP 10x zoom, kijk deze foto’s!!. Mijn lief is al met fotografie bezig van jongs af aan, en is een enorme Canon fan. We hebben verschillende professionele camera’s met geweldige lenzen maar hij is verliefd op deze nieuwe camera, heb ik al vertelt dat het een COMPACTE camera is!!!!

I started making these hearts out of this beautiful wool my sister got me last year from the island of Texel, here in Holland. The wool is not great for wet felting so i used needle felting. The soft colourful merino wool i got last saterday at the christmas market in Harlingen.
Ik ben deze hartjes gaan maken van Texels wol dat mijn zus vorig jaar meenam. Het wol is niet helemaal geschikt voor nat vilten dus heb ik het naald vilten gebruikt. Het geweldig zachte gekleurde merino wol heb ik opgesnord op de kerst markt in Harlingen afgelopen weekend.
A new painting i made last week! I painted one of my walls in the living room in this nice taupe colour, and afcourse i needed a new painting to go with it! Just a fun happy picture! :)

Een nieuw schilderij die ik vorige week heb gemaakt. Ik heb één muur in de woonkamer in een hele mooie taupe geschilderd, en nu had ik natuurlijk ook een nieuw schilderij nodig dat er mooi bij staat! Gewoon een vrolijk plaatje! :)

We have a small livingroom and every year i am thinking wether or not to have a tree in the house, and every year i want one! Afcourse,… it’s christmas time! So again this year we went for a small one, always a real one and always one with its roots, so we can replant it.
The picture of my tree i will so in a later post, these are from Martha Stewart! Also nice and small!

We hebben een kleine woonkamer en elk jaar weer twijfel ik of we een kerstboom moeten nemen, en elke keer wil ik er toch één. Natuurlijk wil ik er één,….. het is kerstmis! Dus ook dit jaar weer een kleine, ook dit jaar weer een échte met wortel, zodat we haar weer opnieuw kunnen planten.
De foto van mijn boom zal ik in een latere post laten zien. Deze zijn van Martha Stewart! Ook mooi klein!.

I know it’s all about christmas in blogland these days, but i am going to be a rebel;)…… i am going to show you some new fabric i found recently. I made this extra large pilow and am stil thinking about what to do with the other fabric. Maby a table cloth and a new cover for my chair. Its cold outside , so its nice to be inside and make stuff. Ik weet dat het allemaal over kerst gaat in blog land op dit moment, maar ik ga een beetje rebelleren:)……ik ga wat foto’s laten zien van nieuw stof dat ik heb opgesnord overal en nergens. Ik heb al een nieuwe extra large kussen gemaakt van een geweldig krijtstreep stofje. Nu nog een tafel laken en een stoel hoes voor mijn oude chesterfield stoel. Het is koud buiten, dus fijn om binnen te zijn en leuke dingen maken. Een fijne week :)
This blanket i made with some nice pink ribbons, and some white lace on the other side, it’s 2oocm x 180cm.
Op dit stofje heb ik verschillende linten genaaid, in roze kleuren. En een lint van kant aan de andere zijde. Het is 200cm x 180 cm.
I made this picture in the city of Bouillon in Belgium, when we where there some weeks ago, pretty sexy isn’t it. Perfect for underneath the beautiful party dresses, for this holiday season.
Deze foto heb ik gemaakt in Bouillon België toen wij daar waren een aantal weken geleden. Sexy en mooi voor onder die geweldige feestjurken met de kerstdagen!

Een krans die ik vorig jaar gemaakt heb, ik heb er een paar witte rozen in gedaan.
Nu is het wachten op de SNEEUW!!
EEN WITTE KERST,…. dat zou leuk zijn!.
Of schaatsen op natuur ijs, dat zou ook geweldig zijn!
